Jan Arvanetes has worked in the design industry for over 20 years. She began her career as a graphic designer at Burson-Marsteller in Chicago, IL after completing her undergraduate studies at Northern Illinois University.
Before going out on her own in 2013, she was Director of User Experience at Rosetta Digital Marketing where she was responsible for business development proposals, client presentations, design strategy roadmaps, and leading user experience team activities for numerous financial and consumer-based industry clients.
Previous to Rosetta, Jan held a variety of positions including:
- Consultant with Perficient, Inc. leading user research and design activities for a variety of Global 2000 clients.
- Director of Brand Integration for Sabre in Dallas, TX.
- Interface Design Specialist at American Airlines Usability Design Center
- Tenure-track Design Faculty (design and photography) and Gallery Directory at Alma College in Michigan.
Jan holds a BFA and an MA in Visual Communication from Northern Illinois University and an MDes in Interactive Design and Education Theory from the University of Cincinnati. She currently resides in Cleveland, OH.
